Citizens for Daniel Lee is committed to making this website accessible to all visitors, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

Our Efforts

We have taken the following steps to improve accessibility on this site:

Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements — navigation links, buttons, and form fields — can be reached and operated with a keyboard. A skip-to-content link appears at the top of every page when you begin tabbing.

Visible focus indicators: When you navigate with a keyboard, a visible gold outline appears on the currently focused element.

Alternative text: Images include descriptive alternative text. Decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.

Form accessibility: All form fields have programmatically associated labels. Required fields are marked and enforced before submission.

Semantic structure: Pages use semantic HTML landmarks (header, nav, main, footer) and appropriate heading hierarchy to support screen reader navigation.

Color contrast: Text is displayed with a minimum 4.5:1 contrast ratio against its background to meet WCAG AA.

Cookie consent: The cookie preference dialog is keyboard accessible and labeled for screen readers.

Known Limitations

The embedded YouTube video player is controlled by Google/YouTube and may have accessibility limitations outside our control. If the video is inaccessible to you, a link to our YouTube channel is provided directly below the embed.

The hover-only image gallery transitions are decorative; all content in the gallery is also presented in text form.
